Just a quick note to say how happy we are with our new Bennington Pontoon Boat and the excellent service we received from your salesman Greg Scollard and the driver who delivered the boat. The driver made an exception to deliver the boat on a Saturday, plus when he got there, we found out we had the boat lift set up with the wrong measurements, so some adjustments had to be made. The driver waited on the boat in the rain while we made the adjustments. Needless to say, this took more than a few minutes. The driver waited patiently and never once complained. He also met me at a gas station in Marmora so I could fill up the boat with gas before putting it in the water. Thanks again. We will definitely refer customers your way!

You do not know me personally, but I wanted to send an email thanking you and your team for the effort that was over and above what is expected.
My story went as follows.....
I decided to purchase the 2000 Moomba Kamberra on Friday June 24th after speaking with Landen, Dan and then getting pre-approved through Sarah at Dealer Plan. I asked if it was possible for Bay Marine to pick-up my trade-in and deliver the Moomba Thursday June 30th for me to have for an extended long weekend. Dan was very accommodating and said he could make my requests possible. Since I was purchasing the boat sight unseen and I am very particular with every purchase I make, throughout the week I know for a fact that I emailed, called and texted more within one week (Sunday included) than I talk to my wife within a month. To put me at ease during the sales process Dan was very attentive and prompt in communicating my requests.
My wife and I were not suppose to have the kids this weekend as they were with their Dad, but once they heard I was purchasing a boat, plans soon changed for them to be at the cottage with us for an extended long weekend. Dan originally informed me that the boat would arrive around 3:00 pm on Thursday, not a problem. Dan called me Thursday morning as I was 30 min away from my cottage to run through the final details of the sale and to let me know that the boat was going to be delivered earlier that expected. At that point there was a cheer coming from the inside of my truck that I'm sure Dan could hear over his end of the phone.
My phone rang around 11:00 am and it was Darryl explaining that he has filled the boat with full and he is in Havelock. I meet him 20 min later at our boat launch, look over the boat, sign papers then launch it. Darryl gives me a once over of the boat then has me start it...
it didn't start. Daryl explained that Dan had it in the water with a tech the day prior and all was good. Over the course of over 2 hours Daryl had checked all the wires to the best of his ability and went in a boat with one of my neighbours to get a cell signal to call to find out what the problem could possibly be that is not letting the motor start. After talking with a tech he suggested Daryl bring the boat back for him to address them problem. Mine and my family's faces sank once we heard the news that it had to be taken back and there was a chance we might not get it back until the following Monday when your Marina was open again. We pulled it out of the water and went to my cottage where I have a stronger cell signal for Daryl to contact you directly. During your conversations via text with Daryl, he explained to me that you were very concerned. After Daryl explained to me that you were having a tech or two staying behind to wait for my boat to return, I was impressed, but I was still concerned that I wold not have it for the weekend. I know that nobody is to blame since it was running on Wednesday, but a simple case of s#!t happens, and if it is going to happen, it will happen to me. When Daryl was leaving with my boat, all I asked was for an update, any update as soon as someone knew what the problem is or might be.
I received a call shortly after 5 pm from Daryl... he and Brad are on their way back with my boat fixed (another cheer could be heard)! Once they arrived at the launch I asked what was the problem. It was a ignition wire under the dash that had come loose. Launched my boat again..... it started right up.
Nobody wants to work late on the day prior to a long weekend, so again, I want to thank Bay Marine for all your efforts:
Dan - Making the entire sales process as enjoyable and painless as possible.
Daryl - As the face of Bay Marine to me, his customer service, patients and effort was second to none.
Brad - Staying late, taking time away from his family to diagnose a problem and to use his own vehicle to deliver a customers boat.
Wes - Overall concern for a customer, your product and having techs stay late to try to solve a problem.
I am overwhelmed with the customer service that I had received from Bay Marine, and I will sure be proud to pass this along to others!
